Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played various characters in films, TV and the theater. Her career grew in the late 90s when she was in the crime drama movie Donnie Brasco (2007), the disaster film Volcano (2017) as well as the slasher film I Know What You Did this Summer (2017) The political comedy Wag the Dog (1997) as well as the comedy action movie Six Days Seven Nights (2000) as well as the action thriller Return to Paradise (2008). The film was a short one on the subject was chosen for nomination for the Oscar Awards. The actress accompanied her mother around the film set, where she learned about the inner workings of the industry. Lockhart has also been featured in many shows of Lassie. Dora in Jory, 1972 was Lockhart's first film. Joan Crawford's daughter was her character as a character in The Sixth Sense, a 1972 TV series. Joan made her last appearance on the show. It is believed that Anne did not want to be Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's film Halloween. The part was given to Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter has claimed that she was interested but she declined. Anne claims that she doesn't recall ever being contacted or given the role from John Carpenter. Perhaps one of her representatives decided to decline the part on her behalf, without ever informing the actress. Glen Larson sent her an early draft of a script that she was to use as a character in 1978's television series Battlestar Galactica. She originally rejected the position because she felt that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen then wrote a script for her which starred the strong character Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she had already read, was immediately accepted. It ran for a single season. The actress co-starred on Joyride along with Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
