Dennings was in a relationship was with Nick Zano - her "2 Broke Girls" co-star ran from 2011 to 2014. Following their breakup the couple began to date Josh Groban. The couple remained together up until 2016. Dennings first met Andrew W.K., a musician during the first year of 2021. They soon started being romantically involved. The couple announced their wedding to each other in the month of May 2021. Dennings was a fan of the singer from 2014 onwards. While Dennings grew up Jewish, she has stated she feels more connected to the Jewish faith on a personal or cultural level, and she is not a religious integral part of her daily life. Her hobbies include gardening, reading and painting. Her plans to go to an art college were foiled when her portfolio was damaged in a flooding. It was an obvious signal for her to go into acting.
